Ann Inniss is a licensed Clinical Professional counselor (LCPC), specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in LaPlata, Maryland. I have experience working with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, grief and loss, relationship concerns, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, co-occurring substance use disorders, and other life experiences. I believe that each person paves their own way, creating a roadmap that shapes their current experiences.
I am proud to be working in a community-based setting with diverse populations, cultures, and belief systems. It is important to me that I maintain a safe environment with empathy and warmth where clients can tell their stories by utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, MI, and Trauma-focused modalities. It is my hope that together we can identify triggers, notice warning signs, and find ways to better prepare for oncoming stressors and challenges.
